@uglyy_fruuit has created their own AI art movement aptly named traumatic post-realism, a style that  crowds, fractures and distorts images to reveal digital scars. A self-descibed “pixel masher”, using gen AI to reassemble visuals into funny, glitchy, provocative, and fragmented forms and cursed images.

Traumatic post-realism burns traditional or surreal realism, capturing a world broken by the trauma of technological interference. This art exposes the raw, chaotic edges of digital existence, elevating imperfection, decay, and disruption. This art pushes boundaries to explore how human-like forms warp and reshape in often humorous ways.
