From Data to Dream: AI Art, Shaped by Thought
Issue 8
May 9th 2025
A few weeks ago, we explored AI art collaboration groups, including the fabulous FRMWRK collective—an Instagram-based community showcasing generative art. Instagram continues to thrive as a creative hub for AI artists, offering a dynamic space to display work, connect with fellow creators, and spark real-time collaborations.
This week, we’re highlighting the talented women behind two standout AI art platforms:
@aimuses.ai – AI MUSES
@echoesmag.ai – ECHOES
Founders:
@insanne.dreams
@pinkwritinglife
@whatif.now
Some other spaces that aggregate AI artists based outside the Instagram eco system include Creative AI Lab, a partnership between Serpentine Gallery and King’s College London that explores the intersection of AI, culture, and contemporary art through research and creative projects; AIArtists.org, a global platform curated by Luba Elliott that supports and showcases artists working with AI while fostering dialogue around ethics, innovation, and expression; and Obvious Collective, a Paris-based group known for their groundbreaking use of AI and GANs in art, blending classical aesthetics with cutting-edge machine learning to provoke thought and push boundaries in the art world.
This emerging women-led collective aims to create inclusive spaces for AI women artists with varied backgrounds, photographers, writers, designers, marketers, and more, who share a deep interest in AI art. Through collaborations, educational content, and advocacy around issues like mental health, climate change, and ethical AI, AI MUSES amplifies underrepresented voices in the tech and creative spheres. Building on this mission, ECHOES serves as a bridge between technology and artistic expression, connecting members through shared projects, a creative space for showcasing work, and a Instagram based digital magazine dedicated to AI-powered storytelling and innovation.

We are 3 women that have known each other for over a year and a half. We met on Instagram, through some AI groups and experiences we went through together. All of us are strong women, with very different personalities, but with important things in common: we like to help others; design, write or create in general; we are smart and
fearless.
AI MUSES was born from the idea of creating a community centered around women, including photographers, dancers, designers, writers, singers, marketing specialists, and others, all connected by a shared passion for AI.
Our mission is to give a voice to women in this space while also highlighting important global issues. Before being women, we are human beings. Our world is vast and beautiful, but also complex and sometimes painful. That is why we use our platform to explore topics such as:
- Climate change, mental health, animal rights, the ethical use of AI, and the importance of women’s contributions, always through collaborative efforts.
- Practical advice on how to use AI tools, build a unique style, grow on Instagram, and leverage technology to improve professionally or grow a business.
- Commemorating meaningful days like International Women’s Day, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, and many more.
ECHOES
The three of us are part of different groups within communities full of amazing and talented people. Our AI community is still relatively small, and since many of us are pioneers, it is common to know each other and to collaborate or share spaces across different projects. Magazines, exhibitions, and other opportunities for AI artists are growing rapidly, showcasing incredible creators and giving them a voice.
ECHOES seeks to create a bridge between technology and creativity. Communities inspire, connect, create opportunities, foster learning, and help us move forward. We have active groups, a collaborative space to share our members’ creations, and we are currently building a digital AI magazine that will be launched later this year.
